Call the Texas Dealer licensing folks.

Ask THEM if there is any law or statute regarding it.

I think you stand a 50-50 chance at winning in court even if you don’t have the law or statute when you go in.

The only issue here is he didn’t disclose it to you on paper. Of course, in court, he will say he told you it was.

Its also possible he doesn’t think you will sue and if you do, he might settle up with you.

You are going to have to sue him in Texas because that’s where you bought the car.

(He had no duty to inspect or register the car, that’s not relevant)

We answered this yesterday, but nonetheless…

1. You still have to prove it.

4. And you bought it. I live in Houston…last I checked, for a car to be even legal here in TX, you need a window sticker for both registration and inspection…you bought this vehicle because why?

Once again, good luck. You will need it. Nobody put a gun to your head to buy this car and a judge will know that already. We have this invention called the internet to look for help in how to buy cars BEFORE you sign on dotted lines.

not a good practice not to inform of salvage title but if you get into the legality of it an as is car is an as is car and that in itself covers all issues.
